To eliminate expired medicine dispensing from every pharmacy in India by giving shop owners, distributors, and healthcare institutions a simple, automated system that works on any device — without complexity, without cost barriers, and without IT dependency.
A future where no pharmacy loses revenue to expired stock, no patient receives an expired medicine, and every medical store — from a single outlet in Kerala to a hospital chain across India — has the tools to manage their inventory with confidence.
The Problem
Most pharmacy software either ignores expiry tracking entirely, is too complex for a shop owner to use daily, or is priced for large hospital chains. Small and mid-size pharmacies — the majority of the market — are left managing expiry dates on paper registers, spreadsheet rows, or from memory.
Expired medicines dispensed to patients. Regulatory audits that catch problems which should have been caught months earlier. Thousands of rupees in dead inventory written off every month. Supplier return windows missed because near-expiry stock was not flagged in time. All of it avoidable with the right system.
What We Built
MedExpiry is a Progressive Web App for medicine expiry tracking and pharmacy inventory management. It works on any device — no app store, no installation. A pharmacy owner can be fully set up in minutes by uploading their stock via CSV.
We built MedExpiry with a tiered dashboard system so the interface matches the scale of your operation. A single retail pharmacy sees different tools than a multi-branch distributor or a hospital enterprise. Every tier gets exactly what they need — no more, no less.
Track your medicine stock. Get alerted before anything expires. Follow a clear replacement workflow. Keep records that hold up under any inspection. That is it. Everything else — billing, CSV exports, multi-branch dashboards — is built on top of that core.
Our Values
Every feature in MedExpiry has to work for a shop owner who has never used pharmacy software before. If it is too complex to use without training, it does not ship.
Every feature in MedExpiry exists because a real pharmacy needed it. We stay close to the pharmacies using the product and ship based on what actually solves problems on the ground — not what looks good on a feature list.
MedExpiry is free during beta and built as a PWA so it works on any device a pharmacy already has. No new hardware, no app store, no IT department. The barrier to getting started is as close to zero as we can make it.
The Company
GoFreeLab Technologies is a software company based in Kochi, Kerala, India. We build role-based management software for healthcare and pharmaceutical businesses. MedExpiry is our flagship product.
MedExpiry is currently in active beta. It is live and in use across pharmacies and medical stores right now, being refined continuously based on real-world feedback. We are a small team — we move fast, ship regularly, and stay close to our users.
MedExpiry was founded by Abhijith, Founder of GoFreeLab Technologies, Kochi. The product was built as a direct response to a problem observed in real pharmacies across India.
